Hello, we’re Man-Child Messiah, we bitch about stupid over grown children on the Internet so you don’t have to.
Oh, fuck, I got that all wrong. Let me try again…
With the advent of web 2.0 and the ever growing access to the tools needed create semi-adequate user generated content, it’s become a growing problem on the Internet of today that everyone thinks they should put their stupid idiot face online and screw any chances that tech-savvy employers will ever hire them in the future, all in some vain attempt to have their 15 minutes of Internet fame by doing something as overdone as telling you why an Uwe Boll movie sucks.
Sturgeon’s law is in full effect here, as it tends to be with things. Most everything you’ll find in the realms of user generated content is terribly worthless garbage emulating other terribly worthless garbage. Naysayers are spread few and far between, often silenced or ostracized to the fringes of the conversation, always after being erroneously labeled as trolls.
Man-Child Messiah spits in the face this sort of malarkey and the childish mentality that has led to it becoming the accepted norm.
- We believe that users are allowed to challenge the quality of any content without being labeled as trolls.
- We believe the labeling of your critics as trolls and the general writing off of well-reasoned criticisms to be the worst sort of childish arrogance amongst content producers and the worst sort of tunnel vision amongst their viewers.
- We believe that content of deficient quality should be labeled as such and that content of high quality should be praised and rewarded.
We are Man-Child Messiah, we bitch about stupid over grown children on the Internet because you aren’t going to.
